　　一、努力提高自身素質與修養。

　　作為一名記者，要有宏觀意識，要胸懷大局，了解黨和政府工作中的新精神和新要求，善于透過事物現象預見其本質和未來，從而挖掘出有社會價值的新聞題材。而要做到這些，就必須不斷提高自已的各項素養。

　　為了提高政治素質，我要求自已做到：在思想上和政治上與黨中央保持一致，堅持社會主義方向，我認為，記者講政治最重要最根本的是堅持社會主義方向，還要做到正確宣傳黨的綱領、路線、方針、政策，加強群眾觀點，貫徹群眾路線，重視政治理論學習。

　　記者心理素質包括：好奇心理、競爭意識、冒險精神和堅強的意志。這些心理素質是成為一名記者的必備條件。所以，我始終不忘提高自已的心理素質。

　　作為一名攝像記者，光有較強的政治和心理素質還遠遠不夠，更要有過硬的業務素質。于是，我常常利用工作之余尋找各種與業務有關的資料，如《新聞學理論》、《采訪寫作的方法與技巧》等專業書籍，并不斷對這些材料進行分析研究，取其精華、去其糟粕。還堅持每天認真觀看各大電視臺的新聞欄目，邊學邊實踐，使自已學到的每一點先進技術都落到實處。

　　在提高自身素質的同時，我還不斷加強自身修養，使自已努力做到：重事實，講真話，主持正義，堅持真理；報道內容健康，有益社會進步；講究文德，反對以稿謀私；自覺抵制拜金主義、享樂主義、個人主義思想侵蝕；處理好與同事間的關系等。

　　二、敢于吃苦，勇于實踐。

　　新聞工作是一項實踐性很強的工作，缺乏對社會的基本了解的人是沒有資格做一名優秀的新聞人的，記者必須深入實際、深入群眾、深入生活。同樣一個新聞題材，有的記者拍得有聲有色，有的記者卻拍的枯燥乏味，根本原因就在于是否真正深入實際、深入生活、深入群眾。“實踐出真知”、“涉淺水者得魚蝦，涉深水者得蛟龍”，就是這個道理，一些影響面大、具有深遠歷史意義的新聞作品，都是作者投身于火熱的社會生活實踐中，積累了豐富的新聞素材，進行了艱苦的調查研究和思考分析才完成的。因此，我要求自已做到“三勤”、“兩不怕”，即“腦勤、腿勤、耳勤”和“不怕苦，不怕累”。對得到的新聞素材去粗取精、去偽存真，直到捕捉到有價值的新聞內容為止。
