14. 辨析：person與people
    people泛指人們，著重指“全體”。people指人民或確指的“人們”，a people和peoples指民族，種族。
    there are some people in the park. 在公園里有一些人。
    the chinese people is a great people. 中華民族是一個偉大的民族。  
 
15. 此句為一般將來時態的被動語態結構。英語有兩種語態：主動語態和被動語態，主動語態表示主語是謂語動詞動作的執行者，被動語態表示主語是謂語動詞動作的承受者。被動語態由be＋過去分詞構成。一般將來時態的被動語態結構其構成形式是“will be＋動詞的過去分詞”。
  the radio has been repaired. 收音機已被修好了。
  the classroom was cleaned by the students. 教室被學生們打掃了。
  that book will be sent to you tomorrow. 那本書明天將被送給你。
 
16. not… any more意為“不再”，not常與句子中的連系動詞、助動詞、情態動詞等縮寫在一起。它與not…any longer同義。
（1）not…any more等于no more修飾終止性動詞。例如：
    i won’t go there any more. —i will not go there any more.
  （2）not…any longer等于no longer修飾延續性動詞。例如：
    annie doesn’t live here any longer安妮不再住在這兒了。
    另外，not...any more（no more）指數量或次數上的“不再”。
    例如：there is no more bread here. 這兒不再有面包了。
 
17. 句中的it是形式主語，真正的主語是后面的不定式，這樣使用是為了使句子平衡。
  it is very difficult to learn maths well. 學好數學很難。
  it is very difficult to sleep here. 在這兒很難入睡。
  hear from接到……的信，收到……的信息，后面的賓語是人。如：
  have you heard from mary recently?你最近收到瑪麗的來信了嗎?
  mother hasn’t heard from you for quite some time.
  母親很久沒有收到你的來信了。
  收到……來信的表達法：
  （1）receive a letter from sb.  
  （2）get a letter from sb. hear from sb.
  辨析：hear from與hear of/about
  hear of/about得知，聽說（某情況），聽人說起。如：
  —who’s john denver?約翰•丹佛是誰呀?
  —i’ve never heard of him. 我從來沒聽說過他。
  he has never been heard about since then.
  從那以后我從未聽說過關于他的消息。
  they had often heard of elephants，but they had never seen them.
  他們經常聽人說起大象，但他們從未看見過。
