1. mistake
n. 犯錯, 誤會。復數形式：mistakes
① don’t be afraid of making mistakes.不要怕犯錯。
② he hit me by mistake.  他誤打了我。
vt.  錯認，誤會。三單形式：mistakes；
v.-ing形式：mistaking；過去式：mistook；過去分詞：mistaken。
③ i mistook the house.我認錯了房子。
④ i mistook you for an american.我誤認為你是一個美國人。
 
2. paid  是pay的過去式
pay vt.（錢）支付，花費；vi.  付款
①i paid ten dollars for the books.
