9. when l got home , i found out that the plant was very dangerous .
我到家時(shí)才發(fā)現(xiàn)這株植物非常危險(xiǎn)。
find out 表示“找出原因、查明真相”等意思，常接賓語(yǔ)或賓語(yǔ)從句。
例如：
i have found out that they had settled the problem .
知識(shí)拓展：
find，find out，look for
find強(qiáng)調(diào)“找”的結(jié)果，即“找”到還是沒(méi)“找”到。如：
i look for my book everywhere，but i can’t find it . 我到處找我的書，但沒(méi)找到。
find out表示“查出，努力查找”。往往是指通過(guò)努力去查明事情的真相或查找答案等。
如：
the teacher tries to find out who is not in the classroom . 老師試著查出誰(shuí)沒(méi)在教室。
look for強(qiáng)調(diào)“找”的動(dòng)作和過(guò)程。如：
i’m looking for my book. 我正在找我的書。
