StepⅠ GreetingsGreet the whole class as usual.StepⅡ Lead-in Everyday, we have food. Food makes us feel full and happy and it also helps to build our bodies. But have you ever thought what you eat is junk food or healthy food? Today we are going to learn something about food. StepⅢ Lead-in First show the students some pictures of dishes and review something we had talked about yesterday. Here the students may have a short ask and answer in pairs to themselves more engaged in the topic. Ask your partners what they like to eat. And fill in the table. Step Ⅳ Listening Now let’s have some listening training. 1. Look at the listening part. Listen to what happened to Mike, and then be prepared to answer the questions below. (1) Where did this dialogue happen? (2) What happened to Sharon? (3) What do you think caused the problem? The students are expected to answer the questions in pairs. You needs to listen carefully. Of course, you should write down the key words when you listen. 2.Teacher plays for the first time. Then play for the second time, during this time, Teacher may pause for students to write down the information. 3. Play parts of the tape more times if necessary.
