ask,  request 與demand
①ask 是一般用語，表示要求得到某物時，用ask for sth。
②request 指語氣委婉的請求，在含request的表語從句和同位語從句中，謂語動詞應用“should+動詞原形”的結構，should 可以省略。
e.g.mr. paine made a request that i should help him. 佩恩先生請求我幫助他。
③demand的語氣嚴厲，表示非得到不可的要求。如demand the rights 要求得到權利。
e.g.they demanded the right to vote. 他們要求選舉權。
