want to be… “想要成為……；想要變得……”，動詞be后接形容詞或名詞。

1. 詢問價格
1） how much is + 單數商品？ how much are + 復數商品？

2. how many/how much
詢問數量how many + 可數名詞，how much + 不可數名詞
1）你有多少蘋果？how many apples do you have?
2）你想要多少水？how much water do you want?
3. socks襪子, shoes鞋, shortts褲子,trousers褲子等都是成雙成對的物品，一般以復數形式出現，作主語時謂語動詞用復數形式。但它們和a pair of （一雙、一副或一對）連用作主語時，謂語動詞要與pair在數上一致。
the shorts are tom’s. 這條短褲是湯姆的。
the pair of shorts is tom’s. 這條短褲是湯姆的。
4. 英美等西方國家的貨幣單位像dollar（美元）、cent（美分）、pound（英鎊）、penny（便士）、shilling（先令）等有單復數變化。我國的貨幣單位元（yuan）、角（jiao）、分（fen）單復數一樣。
△表示貨幣等度量衡單位的詞在句中作主語時，謂語動詞用單數形式。
100 dollars is quite a lot of money for him. 100美元對他來說是相當多的錢。
5. can i help you? 我能幫助你嗎？
此句是主動提供幫助時的服務用語。它的翻譯隨著場所的不同而不同。在飯店：你想吃點什么？在商店：你想買點什么？
肯定回答：yes, please. …
否定回答：no, thanks. (…)
與can i help you?同義的常用表達還有：what can i do for you?/ may i help you?/is there anything i can do for you?
6. want sth 想要某物 1)我想要個蘋果。
want to do sth. 想要做某事 2)他想打籃球
want sb. to do sth. 想要某人做某事 3）我想要他幫助我
7. here you are.給你。
8. it looks nice.它看起來很漂亮。look“看起來；看上去”，連系動詞，后接形容詞作表語。
9. i’ll take it.我買了。
10.表感謝的用語：thank you / thank you very much / thanks / thanks a lot / many thanks.
