10. feed   
v.
1）to give food to; supply with nourishment: 給予食物；供給營(yíng)養(yǎng)：

feed plants with fertilizer 給植物施肥
2) to provide as food or nourishment: 供以……為食：把……作為食物或營(yíng)養(yǎng)供給：

3) to serve as food for: 作為食物供給：
the turkey is large enough to feed a dozen. 那只火雞大得足夠十二個(gè)人吃。

13. care for關(guān)懷, 照顧, 愿意, 計(jì)較
his son cared for him when he was ill. 當(dāng)他生病時(shí)，他的兒子照顧他。
i don’t care for him to read this letter. 我不愿讓他看這封信。
14. bear    
要點(diǎn)：
n.熊
polar bear 北極熊
he is such a bear that nobody likes him. 他是一個(gè)粗魯無(wú)禮的人, 沒(méi)有人喜歡他。
v.
1) to have a tolerance for; endure: 容忍；忍耐：
couldn’t bear his lying. 無(wú)法忍受他的謊言
