2) from time to time 不時, 有時, 偶爾=at times
他只是偶爾去看看電影。

it 在本句中作形式主語，真正的主語是動詞不定式短語 to see some of my old friends. 此時，不把不定式結(jié)構(gòu)to see some of my old friends放在句首，而是放在句子的后部，以防頭重腳輕。
類似的結(jié)構(gòu)：it is + adj+ for sb to do sth

14. …as well as…也, 又。連接兩個并列部分，但其重點在前者，不在后者。漢譯時要先譯后者，再譯前者。as well as 后面放上與前面一致的成分
he goes to school every day as well as his brother.
he is clever as well as handsome.
she continued her own work as well as helped me. 她除了幫助我，還繼續(xù)自己的工作。（連接動詞）
