e.g.if i were you，i would go to the party.
    如果我是你，我就會去參加聚會。
    if i knew the secret，i would tell you.
    如果我知道這個秘密。我會告訴你的。
(2)對過去情況的假設(與過去事實相反)：if從句中的謂語動詞用had+done，主句中的謂語動詞用should/would/could/might + have + done.
e.g.if i had not studied hard，i would have failed in the exam.
    假如我學習不那么刻苦.就不會通過考試了。
    (3)對將來情況的假設(表示將來實現可能性不大)：if從句中的謂語動詞可以用三種形式.即should + v.were to + v.和動詞的過去式連用.主句中的謂語動詞用should/would/could/might + v.
e.g.if l were to go to the moon some day.i could see the surface 0f the moon with my own eyes.=lf l should go to the moon some day… =lf l went to the moon some day…
    要是有一天我登上了月球，我能親眼看看月球的表面是什么樣子。
   3.manage是�？紕釉~之一。主要用法如下：
    (1)經營、管理(作及物動詞)
    e.g.he managed the company while his father was ill.
    他父親生病期間，他管理公司。
    she managed the money very well.
    她管財有方。
    (2)設法對付.處理(可作及物動詞，也可作不及物動詞，常與can，could, be able to 連用)
    e.g.一do you need any help with those heavy bags?
    一no, thanks.i can manage.
    一你需要幫忙搬那些重袋子嗎?
    一不用了。謝謝。我能行。
    she knows how to manage him when he's angry.
    她知道在他生氣時怎樣對付他。
    (3)manage to do sth./try to do sth.
    兩短語都表示設法做某事。manage to do sth.表示(經過努力)終于做到了；try to do sth.表示設法、盡力做某事，但不一定成功。
    e.g.try to get home early.
     盡量早點回家。
    he tried to give up smoking.but he failed.
他努力戒煙.可是沒戒掉。 
we managed to catch the last bus.
    我們終于趕上了末班車。
    he managed to pass the college entrance examination.
他通過了高考
 ⅲ.詞語辨析
    1.way，method.means
    三個詞均可表示“方法、方式”.但其用法又有所不同。
    (1)way是可數名詞，其后可接of短語或不定式短語作后置定語。
    e.g.i know a better way 0f doing it.
    我知道一個更好的辦法來做這件事。
    this is neither the only nor the best way of doing it.
