(3) 辨析specially與especially
specially意為“非一般的，非廣泛的”，主要含義為專門；
especially意為“特殊，特別”。指的是非普通，非尋常的，主要解釋為尤其。如：
i came here specially to see you.
it has been especially hot today.

be+動詞不定式，可表示該做或不該做的事情，相當于must, should, ought to等。

13. in addition (to) 此外（還）

15. announce v.
(1) to make known publicly 發表、告知、宣布…
the government announced its new economic policies. 政府封閉了新的經濟政策。
(2) to state in a loud voice 宣布（客人的名字、到達等）
his servant announced mr. and mrs. white. 他的仆人通報懷特夫婦駕臨。

16. deal with
(1) 意為“處理”。如：
i don’t know how to deal with the problem.
at the beginning of this term, we will have many difficulties to deal with.
(2) 辨析deal with 與do with
兩個詞組都有“處置”的意思。
do with常與連接代詞what連用，表示（怎樣）處理，安排；和can等連用，表示“有……就行了”，“湊合用”；和can’t連用，表示“受不了”“不能”“不便”；和have to連用表示“有關系”。如：
i can’t remember what i did with my purse.
can you do with a five-pound note?
i can’t do with him and his temper.
hw has to do with all sorts of people.
deal with 常與連接副詞how連用,表示“對付”“處理”“安排”“討論”“涉及”等。如：
i don’t know how to deal with these bad children.
i’m used to dealing with matters of this sort.
this book deals with questions of political economy.
