injure  常指在意外事故中受傷（損害健康、容貌等），強調功能的損失。也可指感情受傷害。比正式。
he was injured in the traffic accident. 他在那起交通事故中受傷。
i hope i didn't injure / hurt your feeling.我希望我沒有傷害你的感情。
injured  adj. 受傷的    her injured son她受傷的兒子
the injured were taken to the hospital. 傷員被帶到醫院。
injury  n. 損傷；傷害；損害
hurt  主要指那些帶來痛苦、悲傷、損失或損害的
hurt one's 身體部位 / hurt oneself / sb傷某人或感情
e.g. my leg hurts.我的腿疼了。
many people were hurt when a bus and a truck collided.一輛公共汽車和一輛卡車相撞,許多人受了傷。

wound  vt. 外界暴力的皮肉傷。是出血的、嚴重的傷，尤指用武器有意造成的傷口、傷疤或在戰場上所受的傷。也可比喻人們精神上受到的創傷。wound sb. in /on the 身體部位
