on holiday意為“度假”。例如:
i'm on holiday in london with my friend jenny.

2. how long did it take to get there?
(1)句中的take指“花費(fèi)時(shí)間”;it為形式主語，真正的主語為動(dòng)詞不定式。例如:
it takes about half an hour to get to the airport.
拓展：表示“花費(fèi)”的動(dòng)詞
spend的句型：sb spend + 一段時(shí)間/錢 + on sth
sb spend + 一段時(shí)間 + （in） doing stn
例如：i spend 10 minutes （in）answering the question.
i spend 10 dollars on the pen.
cost的主語一般只能是物
例如：只能說，the pen cost me 10 dollars.
不能說，i cost 10 dollars……是錯(cuò)誤的。
take的句型：it takes sb + 一段時(shí)間 + to do sth.
sth take sb + 一段時(shí)間
take作花費(fèi)講的時(shí)候主語一般也是為物
