前面的幾個模塊我們已經學習一般去時的各種用法，現在同學們進行一個總結。
（一）意義
1.一般過去時表示過去某個時間發生的動作或存在的狀態，常和表示過去的時間狀語連用。
如：yesterday, last week, five days ago, the day before yesterday, just now.
2. 一般過去時也表示過去經�；蚍磸桶l生的動作。常與often，always，usually等頻度副詞連用。
3. 表示主語過去的性格，特征，能力。
（二）一般過去式的句型結構
1. 謂語動詞為be動詞過去式句型
肯定句：主語+was/were+其他
否定句：主語+wasn’t/weren’t+其他
一般疑問句：was/were+主語+其他？
特殊疑問句：特殊疑問詞+ was/were+主語+其他?
2. 謂語動詞為實義動詞過去式的句型
肯定句：主語+動詞過去式+其他
否定句：主語+didn’t +動詞原形+其他
一般疑問句：did+主語+動詞原形+其他？
特殊疑問句：特殊疑問詞+did+主語+動詞原形+其他？
（三）動詞過去式的變化規則
1.一般在動詞末尾加-ed，如：pull-pulled, cook-cooked
2.以不發音的字母e結尾的動詞，在后面直接加-d，如：taste-tasted
3.末尾只有一個元音字母和一個輔音字母的重讀閉音節，應雙寫末尾的輔音字母，再加-ed，如：stop-stopped
4.以“輔音字母+y”結尾的，變y為i，再加-ed，如：study-studied
5.不規則動詞過去式（課本后面的動詞不規則變化表）
