step 1. leading-in
guessing game, language a1. show the picture to the ss, ask them to listen carefully and try to find out what it is.
step 2. revision(3mins)
review what we have learned yesterday.
ask ss some questions using the present prefect tense.let them answer the questions in whole sentences.
e.g. t:“have you had breakfast?”
s:“yes, i have .” / “no,l haven’t.”
step 3. learning and practice(30mins)
1.already and yet (10mins)
(1)t:"are you hungry?” and “why do you feel so ?”
according to the answers of the ss, the teacher can write down the sentences with already and yet on the blackboard. and guide them to find the rules in this two word. (group work)
rules: already can be used in the positive sentences.
yet can be used in the negative sentences.
(2) finish ex a on page 103
2.ever and never (10mins)
(1)t:” which breakfast do you like, west or east?”t can show the pictures at the same time. t:” have you ever visited aboard?” and write down the sentences with ever and never on the blackboard. guide ss to find the rules.(group work)
(2) make up a similar dialogue to ex b on page 104.
3.since and for (10 mins)
(1) read the conversation between hans and doris.
a. introduce the new words:”hamburg,hamburg.
b.ask ss finish the exercise and tell t how they find the answers.
(2) let them sum up the usage of since and for.
step 4. more practice (6mins)
choose some exercises from book b.
step 5. homework (1 mins)
(1) finish language on book b.
(2) make up several sentences about the languages points they have learned today.
