    另外，如有其他限定詞同時修飾中心詞，each 可作代詞取 each of 的形式，而every 則只能做限定詞。如：

9. not only…but also…不但……而且……，連接兩個相同的成分，也可連接兩個分句。    
    △連接兩個并列主語時，謂語動詞和后面主語保持一致；    
    △連接兩個并列分句，not only 置于句首，通常用倒裝句結構，也就是說，把not only引導的分句中的助動詞或be 提到主語前面。
    ①he likes not only english but also math.
    他不僅喜歡英語，而且喜歡數學。 
    ②not only you but also i am a teacher. 
    不僅你而且我也是一名教師。
    ③not only does he work hard, but also he is very clever.   
    他不僅工作認真，而且很聰明。

    die 是動詞，意思為“死、死亡”，是一個瞬間動詞，不能與一段時間連用。 
    ①my grandpa died two years ago. 我爺爺兩年前去世了。
    ②the fish will die without water. 離開水魚會死去。
    拓展：death 是名詞，意思為“死亡、去世”。
    the memorial hall was built one year after his death.
    他死后一年，紀念館建成了。
    ①dying 是 die 的現在分詞，用作形容詞，意思是“垂死的、即將死去的”。
    the poor dog had no food, it was dying. 可憐的狗沒有食物，快要餓死了。
    the dying father wanted to see his son. 那個垂死的父親想見見他的兒子。
    ②dead  adj. 意思為“死了的、無生命的”，表示狀態，可以與一段時間連用。
