二. 重點、難點分析
1. ever  曾經。常用于現在完成時態，多用于疑問句和表示最高級的從句中。如：
have you ever visited hangzhou?  你參觀過杭州嗎? 
has tom ever been to beijing?  湯姆曾經去過北京嗎? 
在否定句中，常用never代替not ever，never“從來沒有”。
i have never visited hangzhou. 我從未去過杭州。
i have never heard of anything like that. 我從未聽說過那樣的事情。
 
2. ride v. &n.
（1）vi. 騎馬（或自行車等），騎；乘車，乘，過去式rode，過去分詞ridden “ride on a bike（bus）”騎自行車（乘公共汽車）
（2）vt. 騎車（馬等）；乘（車等）。ride a horse騎馬，ride a bike騎自行車
（3）n. 乘坐；騎馬，乘車  he enjoyed his first bus ride. 他享受了第一次乘車旅行。
 
3. think of  認為，想起
what do you think of the piece of music?  你認為這首音樂怎么樣? 
the teacher can’t think of his name at the moment. 老師此刻想不起他的名字。
（1）think about  考慮；想（某人、某事）
what are you thinking about?  你在想什么? 
he thinks too much about himself. 他為自己考慮得太多了。
（2）think over  仔細考慮
let me think it over. 讓我仔細考慮一下。
i would like to think it over. 我要仔細考慮考慮。
（3）think out想出
i thought it over. at last，i thought out a good idea.
我考慮再三。最后，我想出了一個好主意。
 
4. paint “著色于”，相當于colour。如：
（1）（用顏料等）畫，繪。如：paint a picture in oil畫一幅油畫
（2）描寫paint a scene描寫一個場面
（3）paint sb. black給某人抹黑
（4）n. 油漆；涂料。wet paint!油漆未干!
涂漆；繪畫作品。a great piece of paint一幅繪畫杰作
（5）painter  n. 畫家，繪畫者。a painter in oils  油畫作家
（6）painting n. 繪畫；繪畫藝術；畫法。
 
5. with my invention用我的發明
with在這里意思是“（表示手段或方法）以……，用……”。如：
we see with our eyes and hear with our ears. 我們用眼睛看，用耳朵聽。
he always writes with a pen. 他總是用鋼筆寫字。
