one在句中作代詞代替上文出現的hoverboard
one作代詞時可以代替上文中出現的人或物，復數形式是ones，代替上文中出現
的一些人或物。如：
this hoverboard is bigger than that one.
這個飛翔器要比那個大。（one=hoverboard）
i want some pencils. 我想買些鉛筆。
which ones do you want?  你想買些什么樣的? 
i want the red ones. 我想買些紅色的。（ones=pencils）
辨析：one與it
兩者都可以代替上文提到過的東西。但二者用法有所不同，one表示泛指，指前面提到過的那類人或事物中的任意一個；it則表示特指，指代前面提到過的那個人或物，名詞前通常加定冠詞the。如：
—do you have a bike?  你有輛自行車嗎? 
—yes，i have an old one. 是的，我有輛舊的。
—can you see the ball?  你看見那個球了嗎? 
—yes，i can see it. 是的，我看見了。
 
13. send在句中相當于carry“運送，載運”
the plane will send you to beijing. 飛機將載著你去北京。
send的用法
（1）send sb. sth. /send sth. to sb. 寄給某人某物
i’ll send him a message tomorrow. 我明天將給他捎個信去。
i’ll send a message to him tomorrow.
（2）send sb. to do sth. 派某人做某事
they have sent some workers to help the farmers.
他們已經派了一些工人去幫助那些農民。
（3）send away趕走；解雇
the teacher wanted to send tom away from schoo1.
老師想把湯姆從學校攆走。
（4）send for派人去請
his mother sent for a doctor. 他媽媽派人去請醫生。
（5）send up發射
china has sent up man-made satellites to circle the earth.
中國已經發射了圍繞地球運轉的人造衛星。
 
14. it takes…. to do sth. 花……干某事。take之后有時跟雙賓語，即后面跟某人和
時間或者金錢。如：
it takes me half an hour to do my homework every day.
我每天用半小時做作業。
it為形式主語，真正的主語是動詞不定式，take有人稱，時態和數的變化。如：
it will take her 30 yuan to buy the t-shirt. 她要花30元錢買那件t恤衫。
second秒
there are sixty seconds in a minute. 1分鐘有60秒。
second還可以表示two的序數詞，意思是“第二”。
tom won the second place in the game. 湯姆在比賽中獲得了第二名。
 
15. space太空
we saw some tv shows about space yesterday.
昨天我們看了一些有關太空的電視節目。
辨析：space與sky
space作“太空”講，泛指肉眼看不見的地方。sky的意思是“天空”，表示距離較近的、肉眼能看見的空間。
there are nine planets in the space. 太空中有九大行星。
there are many beautiful kites in the sky. 天空中有許多美麗的風箏。
 
16. all the time一直，始終
it rained all the time. 天一直下著雨。
they were working all the time. 他們一直在工作。
