2. talk about civil rights and freedom fighters to improve the students' speaking ability.
3. do some listening practice to improve the students' listening ability.
4. learn about some freedom fighters.

step ii lead-in and warming upteacher says something about the picture. (show the picture or play a short video program of jordan—a famous basketball player who is a black man.)get some ss to say something about the following two pictures.
