（二）形容詞轉譯成動詞
英語中的形容詞，常常與系動詞搭配構成“系表結構”。“系表結構”作謂語，從而使這些形容詞具有了動作意味，翻譯的時候需要轉換為動詞。這些形容詞常常是表示知覺、情感、欲望等心理狀態的形容詞，常見的有：
與思維和知覺相關的形容詞：aware, conscious, certain, sure, mindful, ignorant, alert等；
與情感相關的形容詞：glad, pleased, cautious, careful, angry, happy, exhilarated, excited, confident, thankful, grateful, concerned, eager, afraid, doubtful, sorry等；
與欲望相關的形容詞：desirous, hopeful, anxious, keen, enthusiastic, zealous等。
