說明:
虛擬語氣是語法中比較復雜的內容,教師不僅要給學生明確的語法知識,還要引導學生正確分析不同語境,不同語氣。因此建議教師在精講語法規則的同時,能創設不同的語言活動,讓學生在語境中理解虛擬語氣和真實語氣陳述的區別和轉換,幫助學生牢固掌握,并能靈活運用虛擬語氣的知識點。
操作步驟和方法:
i. 教師通過教材132頁練習a,學生通過觀察回憶,歸納出虛擬語氣的基本知識點。
if從句 主句 例句
與現在事實相反 動詞過去式did
be用were would/could/might/should +動詞原形 if i had money on me, i would lend you some
與過去事實相反 had +過去分詞 would/could/might/should + have done if the doctor had come last night, the b0y would have been saved.
與將來事實相反 should+動詞原形
were to+動詞原形
did/were would/could/might/should +動詞原形 if it should rain tomorrow, we would stay at home
注意:
在條件句中如果出現were, had, should可置于句首,省去if,將主語與這些詞倒裝,例如:
* had the doctor come last night, the boy would have saved.
* were i to go to the moon one day, i would see it with my own eyes.
* should it rain tomorrow, we would stay at home
* i can’t remember how much it cost.
* what they were talking about was very professional.
虛擬語氣在一些特殊結構中的運用:
1、在表示命令、建議要求、驚嘆時的名詞性從句中需用虛擬語氣,其結構為“should + 動詞原形”, should可省。這類動詞有suggest, insist, demand, propose, require, ask, advise, order, request…..
* mother insisted that john go to bed at 9 o’clock.
* we suggested that the meeting should not be held.
* it was required that the crops should be harvested at once.
* the suggestion that he be invited was rejected.
*that is their demand that their wages be increased.
注意:
1)在這種句子中絕不出現“would”“must”“could”等。
2)suggest表示“表明,顯示”時,insist表示“堅持認為是”,“堅持某一事實”時,后接的賓語從句不用虛擬語氣。
2、wish后的賓語從句:
與現在愿望不一致 主語+過去時;
與過去愿望不一致 主語+had+過去分詞;
與未來愿望不一致 主語+would(could)+ 動詞原形
* i wish i were as strong as you.
* i wish i had visited the white house when i was in the states.
* i wish i would meet you tomorrow at the party
3、it is important/ necessary/ strange…+ that + should + 動詞原形, should可省
* it is necessary that the doctor should be sent there at once.
4、it’s time句型:當it’s time后用that從句時應該為:
主語+should+原形 或 主語+過去時,例如:
* it’s time that you went to school. 或
* it’s time that you should go to school.
5、if only引起的感嘆句相當于“how i wish+賓語從句”
* if only he could come! 他要能來就好了。
