歸納與遷移
(1)插入語的位置,可放在句首、句中或句末,一般用逗號或分號隔開。
he knows three foreign languages, namely, english, japanese and spanish.
他懂三門外語，如：英語、日語、西班牙語。
但是有些詞或短語可插在句子中,不用逗號隔開。如：
what on earth are you doing here?
你到底在這兒做什么？
（2）表示疑問的插入語結構
含think, suppose, guess, say, imagine, expect, believe等動詞的疑問句,后接含疑問詞的賓語從句時,要將疑問詞放在句首。
whom do you think i should see first?
你認為我應該先看誰？
這一結構可改為:whom should i see first, do you think?
要點2 you are not sure...句型
【例題】 you want to buy a cd for your friend’s birthday but you______ what to buy.
a. not are sure
b. are not sure
c. are not sure to
d. are not sure that
解析:be not sure to do...或be not sure what to do.

(1)be sure 后面接不定式以及從句。
john is sure to pass the exam.
約翰肯定能通過考試。
he is sure that the party will be a success.
他肯定聚會能成功。
i am sure that i put the money in the box.
我肯定把錢放在盒子里了。
(2)be sure of/about 后面跟名詞、代詞、動名詞。
i’m not sure about the practicality of their plan.
我還無法確定他們的那個計劃的可行性如何。
i think he lives at no.23 west street, but i’m not sure about the number.
我想他住在西大街23號，但是我對號碼不確定。
