教師讓學生打開書第50頁，做let’s play部分的活動。教師先隨意將人名與動詞短語的-ing形式連線, 然后根據連線情況進行問答，如：what is chen jie doing? 學生回答she’s …. 教師先帶領學生練習游戲，給學生作示范。
兩人一組，隨意將人名與動詞短語的-ing形式一一連線，然后根據各自的連線情況進行問答。
活動六：猜一猜
教學參考時間：2—3 分鐘
教師拿出let’s talk部分的掛圖，但要將四幅圖分別用四張白紙遮蓋好，問學生：what is she doing? ，學生猜對一個，教師就把這張圖上的紙拿掉，直到學生全部猜出為止。

（2）教師指著大象說：this is the mother elephant.提問：what is she doing?引導學生回答；she’s walking.教師再指著小象提問：what about the baby elephant? what is it doing?引導學生回答：it’s running.

教學反思：
發音的部分的句子比較難掌握，因此我不要求讀得很快，但是要讓學生能讀出來，讀準確。對于頻度副詞ofen usually sometimes的用法我用比賽造句的方式來鞏固，要求一個句子一個意思用不同的副詞有不同的意思，一個人一口氣說出三個句子。

活動四： 讀讀貼貼
教學參考時間：2—3 分鐘
教師出示短語卡片，全班學生齊讀。之后，請第一組學生代表將短語卡貼到相應的動作圖片下，貼的同時第一組其他組員共同說出一個句子，如：he’s writing an e-mail.，接著由第二組代表貼圖說句子，第二組組員說句子，依此類推，直至各小組都進行過。
活動五： 加句子
教學參考時間：3—4 分鐘
學生五至六人一組，第一個學生說一個描述家庭成員在做某事的句子，如：mom is cooking in the kitchen. ，第二個學生先重復前面學生說的句子，然后再說一個不同的句子，如：mom is cooking in the kitchen. dad is reading a newspaper in the study.，依此類推。
活動六：讀讀寫寫
教學參考時間：7—8 分鐘
教師播放read and write部分的錄音，學生認真聽，之后憑借記憶復述聽到的句子或詞語。
教師再次播放，學生跟讀。
教師問一名學生：how are you? ，學生作答后教師板書：how are you doing today? how are you? how are you doing? 用手勢和動作告訴學生三個句子意思相同，并劃個大括號，最后，板書 just fine. 。教師在用三種方法向學生提問：“how are you doing today? how are you? how are you doing?”引導學生回答：just fine. 。教師板書everybody 并帶讀，教師問一名學生：how’s everybody doing? 提示everybody一詞的含義，引導學生理解，并作答。
在學生理解的基礎上，教師請學生合上課本，判斷下面句子的對錯：
mom is cooking dinner in the kitchen.
dad is writing a letter in the study.
grandpa is reading newspaper.

完成finish the sentences 的活動。

教師拿出動詞短語的圖片，說：look at these pictures. 。隨后，拿出其中一張圖片與學生交流，如：i can draw. 并做畫畫的動作。 最后問：can you draw? 引導學生說：yes, i can. 或me, too.
在此基礎上，初步滲透動詞短語。教師繼續說：i can draw. i can draw a fish. 引導學生說i can draw a book/a kite/…. 最后，教師引出we can draw pictures. 強調并帶讀 draw pictures 。
教師繼續鼓勵學生表述能力的句子，鼓勵學生說出所學的動詞及動詞短語。問：what can you do? 學生回答：i can dance and cook. 等。

活動三：詞匯學習
教學參考時間：5—6 分鐘
教師指著動詞卡片說：i can draw a fish. now, i am drawing a fish. 邊說邊在黑板上畫魚，并強調i am drawing a fish now. 用彩色粉筆強調ing 。鼓勵學生做畫畫的動作，邊做邊說i am drawing a fish/a cat/an apple/….
教師出示洗碗的動作卡片，學生聽發音后，教師說：i am doing the dishes. 此時可作為擴展知識，告訴學生洗碗有兩種表達方法，即i am doing the dishes. 或 i am washing dishes.
繼續播放課件。用相同的方法讓學生理解、認讀：drawing pictures, cooking dinner, reading a book, answering the phone 。教師注意學生動詞ing 形式的讀音，必要時多練習幾遍，并糾正學生的發音。
教師回放課件內容，學生再次跟讀。同時教師詢問：what are you doing? 鼓勵學生說完整句，如：i am doing the dishes. i am reading a book. i am cooking dinner. …此環節中，教師板書句型what are you doing? i am doing the dishes. i am reading a book. i am cooking dinner. …
教師播放let’s learn 部分的錄音，學生邊聽邊指邊讀，力爭做到“眼到、手到、口到、心到”。
活動四：快速反應
教學參考時間：3—4 分鐘
教師帶領學生做快速反應的游戲。教師說本部分的動詞短語，如：do the dishes, 讓學生說出它的ing 形式：doing the dishes 。
教師把本部分的五張動作的卡片面朝上貼在黑板、窗戶、門、墻等地方，然后說一張卡片上的短語，如：answering the phone ，學生迅速地指向該圖片，指得又快又準確的學生為勝者。教師還可以用卡片的字母一面進行游戲。
兩個游戲中，教師注意適時糾正學生的發音，鞏固動詞短語的同時糾正發音。
活動五：接力問答
教學參考時間：2—3分鐘
教師出示本部分的動詞短語卡片的ing 形式，教師提問 “what are you doing?” 一個學生a看教師的卡片、做動作并回答 “i am…. ” 隨后讓這個學生a接著問另一個伙伴b “what are you doing?”，b根據教師手中的卡片來回答問題，回答問題后b接著問c，依次快速看卡片，做動作，回答提問。（a,b,c代表學生）

活動八：傳盒子
教學參考時間：2—3分鐘
做“聽音樂傳盒子”的游戲，教師把drawing pictures, doing the dishes, cooking dinner, answering the phone, reading a book 等詞條折疊后放進一個盒子里。音樂開始，學生按順序傳遞盒子。音樂一停，拿到盒子的學生在盒子中抽取一張詞條，教師引導其他學生提問：what are you doing? 抽到詞條的學生根據詞條上的短語邊做動作邊回答：i am …. 教師播放的音樂可以是本課時歌曲what are you doing? 也可以是其它歌曲。

做本單元a let’s learn部分的活動手冊p33配套練習。
教師指導學生理解題目要求，指導操作方法.。listen and match是按所聽內容連線，listen and write 是按錄音內容填寫空缺單詞。

再次播放活動手冊第33頁的錄音，學生完成listen and write 部分的練習。此環節，教師注意輔導學生規范書寫。

③ 讓學生找一找構詞規律：first, second, third, fifth是特殊的，其他的都是在基數詞后加“th”。教師領讀單詞“first--tenth”。
④ 以同樣的方法學習“eleven--twentieth”。
⑤ 請學生說一說他們的生日（只說日期）。教師告訴學生：說日期時，序數詞前要加“the”。當有人生日是21，22，23或是31號時，教師鼓勵學生想一想應該怎么表達。

（2） 教師繼續發指令，學生做動作，適時提問：what are you doing?，引導學生回答：i’m (jumping) (like a rabbit).。教師在黑板上的jump后面加上ing，呈現新詞：jumping。同法引入walking和flying。

教學反思：
本課時的學習重點是一個句型和五個短語。短語的讀音有點困難，所以要用各種辦法讓學生自愿張開嘴巴讀。我用小組比賽的形勢，用剪刀石頭布的游戲，贏的人有權利考輸的人，用了8分鐘時間，學生基本掌握了要學的句型。

本課時的學習我抓住了20個虛數詞的特點來教授，強調特點，教授完前面的幾個詞后讓學生自己把后面的詞寫出來，通過自己來總結和歸納的方法來鞏固學習知識。
