1. 教材分析
本單元以american literature為話題,通過詩歌欣賞,判斷文學作品主題和閱讀文學名著等學習方式,使學生對美國文學的特點以及發展歷史和現狀有一定的認識和了解,并能用已有的關于美國的歷史、政治、文化等方面的知識判斷和描述一部文學作品的主題、內容梗概和寫作方法;能夠運用所學的語言知識和技能聽懂以對話形式對文學俱樂部舉行的某些活動的評論,如成功和失敗之處、優點和缺點所在等;并能用英語談論美國文學作品,包括判斷主題、分析寫作特點、討論作品主人公的個性、總結中心思想等,并對作品加以評論。
1.1 warming up 用一首小詩激發學生對美國文學進一步了解的興趣,并使學生對美國黑人的詩歌有一個初步認識。它既呈現了本單元的中心話題—american literature,又以回答問題的形式幫助學生以這首小詩為線索去探究美國文學的特點,為以后關于“american literature”的進一步聽、說、讀、寫的學習打下基礎。
