  背景知識

  鼓浪嶼位于廈門島西南面,與廈門島只隔一條寬600米的鷺江,乘輪渡5分鐘可達。

  鼓浪嶼原名“圓沙洲”,別名“圓洲仔”,明朝改稱“鼓浪嶼”。乃因島西南方有一礁石,每當漲潮水涌,浪擊礁石,聲似擂鼓,人 們稱“鼓浪石”,鼓浪嶼因此而得名。

  鼓浪嶼面積僅1. 91平方千米,是廈門最大的一個衛星島,常住居民2萬人。 島上巖石崢嶸,挺拔雄秀,因長年受海浪撲打,形成許多幽谷和峭崖,沙灘、礁石、峭壁、巖 峰,相映成趣。

  鼓浪嶼街道短小,縱橫交錯,清潔幽靜,空氣新鮮,島上樹木蒼翠,繁花似錦,特別是小 樓紅瓦與綠樹相映,顯得格外漂亮。

  鼓浪嶼樓房鱗次櫛比 ,掩映在熱帶、亞熱帶林木里,日光巖奇峰突起,群鷗騰飛……組成一幅美麗的畫卷。
