introduction & reading and vocabulary的教學設計
一、教材分析與處理
module 2 introduction 部分主要介紹表示個性特征的形容詞，并通過聽力活動對描述教師風格的陳述進行判斷；reading and vocabulary部分要求學生利用提供的詞匯閱讀三篇短文，了解不同教師的教學風格。為了訓練學生圍繞學校生活對教師個性特征、教學風格進行由淺入深的描寫，我大膽嘗試在本模塊第一課時介紹表示個性特征的形容詞，以及其它相關詞匯，而在第二課時中把introduction的聽力與reading and vocabulary的短文閱讀理解相結合進行教學。遵循教材的“題材-功能-結構-任務”的編寫原則，探索適合學生英語學習的途徑和方法。
二、教學目標
（一）語言知識目標
詞匯部分（見課件）
功能話題是了解不同教師的個性特征和教學風格，運用所學詞匯和短語進行簡單的描述。
（二）語言技能目標
聽懂對教師特征及其風格的描述并獲取信息；運用表示個性特征的詞匯描述熟悉的人物；理解介紹教師風格的對話和短文、獲取信息并掌握和理解作者的觀點；簡單描寫自己身邊的老師。

搜集和運用所學詞匯、短語；對介紹教學風格的材料進行理解、分析、比較和總結；體現自主合作探究相結合。
�。ㄋ模┪幕庾R和情感態度目標
了解國外中學生對教師風格的要求；加深對老師的了解和熱愛, 既發揮學習主動性也配合教師的教學工作，實現感情交流, 使師生關系更加融洽。
三、教學重點與難點
重點：圍繞學校生活對教師個性特征、教學風格進行描寫。
難點：了解不同教師的教學風格，并運用于實際。
四、教學方法
根據高中英語課程標準及當前教學改革、課程改革的先進理念，為達成上述教學目標，運用任務型教學途徑，圍繞核心任務，設定小任務；開展自主性學習的小組活動，使合作、探究與獨立思考相結合，最大程度地優化學生的學習方式，提高課堂學習效果。
五、教學過程
step1. lead-in
t: what shall we talk about today?
s: my new teachers.
t: you have already been students for about 9 years. during the 9 years, you must have met tens of different teachers.
could you use some adjectives to describe these teachers?

t: let’s play a game. i’ll divide the class into two parts. one part is boys, the other is girls. let’s see which group gets more words.

第一環節：導入與復習。這部分起到復習舊知導入新知的作用。主要任務是使用學過的形容詞描述老師，既復習了上節課涉及到的詞匯，又很自然地進入到今天主要談論的話題。為避免學生對詞匯復習感到枯燥無味，于是采用游戲形式brainstorming完成，最大程度地調動了學生的學習興趣，所以這部分也屬于激趣階段。

第二環節：表述與聽力。這一步驟在復習使用形容詞的基礎上，通過自主評價和討論的方式訓練學生表達對教師不同風格的看法，為聽力及下一步的課文閱讀理解掃除了障礙。這部分主要訓練學生聽說及獲取相關信息的能力，而且幫助學生了解國外中學生對教師風格的看法，通過對比改進學習風格。
step3: reading
t: talking about teachers is an interesting topic for students all the time.
now, we’ll read three compositions about three teachers written by their students. and we’ll know more about them. let’s know them first.

t: first, let’s listen to the tape and try your best to answer the two questions.

第三環節：閱讀與理解。這一環節是本模塊的中心內容，也是本課時的重難點。我采用了以下步驟。
第一步、在課件中通過呈現照片使學生對課文中的三位老師產生親切感。然后讓學生帶著reading activity1中的兩個問題，進行聽力訓練，使學生初步感知課文內容，訓練學生的聽力撲捉能力，為進一步的閱讀理解打下基礎。

第二步、通過兩人結隊活動pair work，進一步閱讀課文，互相幫助解決語言形式引起的理解問題，并對比三位老師的個性和風格，快速查找信息，有梯度地討論和回答reading activity中的有關問題，全面了解課文內容。

第三步、全班分為三大組，對課文進行小結，培養學生的合作精神和總結能力。利用表格進行讀書摘記，使課文內容化繁為簡，思路清晰，易于對比三位老師的個性特征和教學風格。

第四環節：寫作與交流。 這一環節屬于學生語言能力的拓展、知識的靈活運用。通過呈現學生身邊任課教師的真實照片，讓學生運用所學詞句描述自己熟悉的老師特征。通過這一寫作練習，使學生把所學語言運用于實踐當中。
通過以上各個環節的設計與實施，從多方面強化語言技能的訓練，全面培養學生的綜合英語能力。
