(2)consider 表示“考慮，細(xì)想”，相當(dāng)于think about，后面接動(dòng)詞時(shí)，應(yīng)用動(dòng)詞的-ing形式。

4. isn’t it supposed to be very hot? 難道天氣不應(yīng)該是很熱的嗎？（section a, 3b）
(1)這是一個(gè)否定形式的一般疑問句，用來表示說話人提出自己的建議或看法，并希望得到對(duì)方肯定的答復(fù)。有時(shí)也表示驚訝、不相信、挖苦、批評(píng)等意義。

(2)be supposed to 的意思與should近似，意為“被期望或被要求做某事”。

you’re supposed to start work at 8:30 every morning.
你應(yīng)該每天早晨八點(diǎn)半開始工作。
5. my family and i want to take a trip this summer somewhere in eastern china. 我和我的家人想在今年夏天去中國東部的某個(gè)地方旅游。（section b, 3a）
⑴take a trip “去旅行”。trip為名詞。如：
he took a trip in shanghai last summer. 他去年夏天去了上海旅游。
⑵介詞in在這里表示“位于”，表示在某范圍之內(nèi)；to表示在某范圍之外；on表示“接壤”。
shanghai lies in the east of china. 上海位于中國東部。
japan lies to the east of china. 日本位于中國的東面。
liaoning province is on the west of jilin province. 遼寧省在吉林省的西面。

⑴provide 作動(dòng)詞，表示“提供，供給”，常與介詞with連用構(gòu)成：provide sb. with sth. 意為“供給某人某物”，也可用于：provide sth. for sb. 意為“為某人提供某物”。
