4. 獨一無二的名詞前；the sun.
5. 用在序數詞、形容詞最高級、only修飾的名詞前；he is the youngest man of the four.
6. 用于海洋、湖泊、江河、山脈、沙漠等專有名詞前；the yellow river.
7. 用于姓氏前；
8. 用于某些形容詞前表一類人；the old, the young, the rich, the poor.
9. 用于樂器前；play the piano.
10. 固定詞組；in the morning(afternoon, evening), at the beginning, in the end, on the left,
  on the right, in the front of, in the middle of, at the foot of the hill, by the way.
（三）不用冠詞情況：
1. 名詞前有指示代詞、物主代詞即this, that, those, these, my, some, any等修飾時；
2. 復數名詞表類別；dogs are friendly to people.
3. 星期、月份、季節、節日前；it is sunday today.   today is mother’s day.
4. 球類、三餐前；play football.   have lunch.
5. 固定詞組；at home,  by train,  go to school,  go to work , go to bed,  on time,  in time , at noon,  in trouble , in fact , in town.
（四）有無定冠詞的區別：at school上學,  at the school在學校里,     at table在吃飯,  at the table在桌旁,   in bed(睡、病、躺)在床上,   in the bed(某物)在床上,   in hospital住院,   in the hospital在醫院里,   in front of在…前面(外部),   in the front of在…前面(內部),   go to school去上學,   go to the school到學校去。
