一、單元分析(unit analysis)
(一)單元地位(unit position)
1.本課在對戲劇描述時,談及了戲劇的特點以及如何欣賞英語戲劇。教師可圍繞“戲劇”這一主題,讓學生知道:what is drama?同時設計活動讓學生參與戲劇的改變或者表演,加強對戲劇的基本要素的了解以戲劇演員的自身要求。了解了戲劇的方方面面,學生才能學會如何欣賞和評論戲劇這一單元會彌補學生對戲劇知識的空白,激發學生熱愛戲劇,自編戲劇,同時也提高了學生的文化素養。
2.圍繞本課主題“戲劇”,學生探討一部戲劇的定義和戲劇的基本要素:plot, character, setting, theme, language, setting, spectacle, music…。并在此基礎上,學會欣賞,表演或改編戲劇。
3.本課中依然是復習上單元的語法現象——虛擬語氣。本單元主要學習以下的虛擬: i wish i could…; if only… 對于這一語法現象,教師有必要在課堂教學中加以一定的句型操練。同時結合上一課的虛擬復習整個虛擬語氣現象。
4.設計對話,小品等形式,讓學生在任務型教學模擬情境中反復操練本單元出現的虛擬語氣從句語法現象。
(二)單元目標(unit target)
1 了解虛擬語氣語法現象,能掌握虛擬語氣的用法。
2 學會如何欣賞英語短劇。
3 學會把英語短故事改編成短劇。
4 練習辨別和聽信息中的要點: the first/ second point/ reason/ …is…
5 學會評論戲劇
