1. 知識目標:
語法:*如何使用時間介詞 ‘between … and …’ 和 ‘from … to …’;
*如何使用時間狀語從句的連接詞‘before’, ‘after’, ‘until’, ‘while’ 和 ‘as’;
*如何使用副詞的比較級和最高級。
2. 能力目標:能運用恰當的時間介詞和時間連詞談論生活;能正確運用副詞的比較級和最高級。
教學重難點:如何在時間狀語從句中正確運用動詞的各種時態;如何在不同的語境下恰當地運用副詞的比較級和最高級。
教學步驟:
i. using prepositional phrases of time: ‘between … and …’ and ‘from … to …’
1. presentation:
t: i like watching tv. there is a special programme called ‘nanjing zero distance’. i watch it every day if i have time. i also like watching movies. here is a time table. please read it and answer my questions:
when is nj zero distance on every day?
how long can we watch movies every night?
2. work out the rule:
t: so nj zero distance is on tv from 18.50 to 19.50. and we can watch movies for nearly one and a half hours from 10.05 to 11.30. now tell me how to use ‘from…to…’.
rule: the action lasts for a period of time. there is no pause or interruption.
t: look at another two sentences.
‘i will be at school this afternoon. you can come to see me between 13.00 and 14.00.
dong sheng’s talking programme on the radio is from 8.30 to 9.30. you can call him between 8.30 and 9.30.’
how can we use ‘between … and …’?
rule: the action happens at a dot of time during the period.
3. practice:
1) please look at the time table and complete some sentences.
2) millie likes watching golden tv. it is her favourite tv channel. help her plan what to watch this saturday night. please finish her sentences on p69.
3) these two phrases can be used not only in describing timetable, but also in describing many other things. let’s have a look.
he will be in beijing _____ november_____ january.
she will come ________ 3.00 p.m. ______ 4.00 p.m. i will wait for her at home.
we have classes _______ monday _______ friday.
the film is on ______ 5 p.m. _____ 7.30 p.m. we need to buy something to eat.
ii. using ‘before’, ‘after’ and ‘until’.
