1.revise the words of animals.
1)用多媒體課件呈現一些動物的圖片,ask the students to remember the animals.
2).出示動物的某一部位的圖片,讓學生進行猜動物比賽。是鞏固詞匯的有趣的方法以及能很好的激發學生學習的積極性.

1. learn the new words. (grassland /desert/forest/jungle)
用多媒體課件呈現一些草原,沙漠,森林,叢林的圖片來認識這些新單詞。
2.show a map of the world to learn the words of continents
(africa/african/europe/european/asia/asian/oceania/oceanian/south america/north america)
3. fill in the blank to consolidate the continents.
以表格的形式呈現更能使學生分辨名詞和形容詞的區別。
4.ask the students to enjoy the video of the animals in the zoo.
播放一段動物在動物園里活動的錄像,能及時消除疲勞提高課堂效率。
5.present the sentences after watching the video.

以不同動物的圖片呈現來操練句型,容易使學生明確動物的棲息地以及區分名詞和形容詞的用法。同時也是把篇章中出現的重點和難點句型提前操練,為下一步閱讀課文減小難度。
6.show the pictures of the different animals and ask the students to practise in pairs.
全班學生都有機會輪流進行兩人小組對話練習,目的是提高學生口語的表達能力。

1.read the passage and answer the questions.

2.read again and choose the correct answers.
通過多媒體課件把學生感興趣的動物圖片與相對應的問題連接起來。
first ask the students what his or her favourite animal is. then answer the question about it. 這一個環節的活動能把回答問題的枯燥變成令學生感興趣的活動,而且能使學生主動參與課堂活動,增強學生的學習自信心。
