stepⅰ:presentation
1. do a dialogue in pairs, like ‘where is …? it’s …’ or ‘where is lucy? she’s…’.
2.. let one student draw his table on the blackboard, ask questions:
--where is peter’s pencil box? –it’s… → his pencil box is…
--what colour is it? –it’s --- → it’s his blue pencil box.
ask ss to prepare this dialogue in pairs, then choose some pairs to speak. present and practice ‘--what colour are they?—they are…’ in the same way.
3. stick some pictures of clothes on the blackboard, to present
--what’s in picture 1?/what’s this/that?/what are these/those?
–it’s …/--they are…(notice at jeans and trousers)
--what colour is it?/what coulour are they? –it’s ---/ they are…
4. listen to the first part, read after it. finish the second part. check out answer, ask ss to colour in the picture.(在聽力過程中,注意方法的傳授和習(xí)慣的培養(yǎng))
5. to talk about their own clothes. then point at one’s cap, to ask
--is it my cap?—no, it isn’t. –whose cap is it? – it’s his/her cap.

1. do the practice on page108 in the workbook, check by themselves.
2. introduce their clothes to each other by using affirmation and negation
sentences. like: this is my /your/his/her black sweater.
3. then according their own things, to do ‘a(chǎn)sk and answer’ in pairs, make questions about what, what colour and whose.
stepⅲ:production
1. look at the pictures, to write the phrases like his blue jeans.
2. do exercise in class and check out, mark it by yourselves. hand it up after class.

1. try to make the colours and the clothes into a rhyme or a song. read the first and third parts several times, if you can, please recite them.
