2. fish的用法
fish 既可以做可數名詞，意思是“魚肉”，也可以做不可數名詞，意思是“魚”。如：
當fish /chicken意為“魚肉/雞肉”時是不可數名詞。
we had fish and chicken for dinner.
我們晚餐吃的魚和雞。
當fish意為“魚，魚類”時是可數名詞，其復數形式有兩種：fish和fishes， （但fishes多指不同的魚類）。
i caught three fish in the river.我在河里逮了三條魚。
3. nothing的用法
nothing 是一個代詞，意思是“沒什么；沒什么東西”
（nothing ,something ,anything… 是不定代詞, 用形容詞修飾此類詞時，要放在它們的后面） 如：
there’s nothing in the room.
房間里什么東西也沒有。
it’s nothing serious.
這沒什么了不起的。
is there anything new in today’s newspaper?
今天的報紙上有什么新東西嗎?
4. by 的用法
by（表時間）在……以前；不晚于；作介詞。
i have to return the book by friday.
我必須在周五之前還回這本書。
by的其它用法：
a）在……旁邊
come over here and stand by me.
b）乘某種交通工具
i came by bus/car/bike/….
5. how about 的用法
how about=what about,意思是“……怎么樣？” （用以詢問消息，提供建議或征詢意見）
how（what） about going to a movie tonight?
今晚去看電影怎么樣？
i don’t like sports. how about you?
我不喜歡運動，你呢?
6. stop to do sth. 停下來做某事 （準備去做）
stop doing sth. 停止做某事 （準備不做）
i’m too tired. let’s stop to have a rest. 我太累了，我們停下來歇會兒吧。
the students stop talking when the teacher comes into the classroom.
老師走進教室時，學生不講話了。
7. remember to do sth. 記得去做某事 （還沒有做）
remember doing sth. 記得做過某事 （以前做過）
如：
please remember to turn off the lights when you leave the classroom.
離開教室時，請記得關燈。
i remember meeting him before.
我記得以前見過他。
8. with, wear, put on, in 都可以表示穿，但是它們的用法不同。
wear, put on 是動詞，可以做謂語。而with, in 是介詞，不能做謂語。
wear強調穿衣的狀態，而 put on強調穿衣的動作。
如：
put on your coat! it’s too cold outside.
穿上大衣！外面太冷了。
students have to wear their uniforms on weekdays.
上學時學生都得穿校服。
she wore a pretty dress.
她穿了套漂亮的衣服。
do you know that girl in red?
你認識那個穿紅衣服的女孩嗎？
the boy with glasses is my younger brother。
戴眼鏡的那個男孩是我弟弟。
9. thank sb. for doing sth.（感謝某人做某事）
