二、教學目標:
1 、初步掌握理解句型,并能在交際中口頭運用副詞比較級句型
2、 掌握四會單詞be good at, strong, faster ,higher.
3 、掌握三會單詞和詞組jog, do well in , that’s true.
4 、能聽懂會說句型 that’s true. he is not as strong as the other boys.
5 、四會句型:ben runs faster than jim .
三、教學重、難點:能正確理解、掌握四會單詞和句型。
teaching procedure:
step1 : warming-up
1.greetings
2.free talk
3.sing the song “i wish i was taller” in unit 1.
4.t: in the song we all wish that we could be taller and stronger. but how? yes, we should do more exercise.
step2: presentation
1.t: today we’ll learn unit2 more exercise. (板書)
2.t: ok. so today first let’s talk about this.

t: look at this boy . who is he ? (jim ) jim is a boy . usually boys like pe very much. how about jim ?

ss : listen to the tape again and try to answer the questions.
3. t : we know jim is not happy . because he thinks he doesn’t do well in pe.
so what is jim’s problem with his pe ?
the way : get the ss to watch the cartoon and choose the right answer.
