一、教學內容與分析
fun story
本課以趣味故事的形式集中復現本單元所涉及的有關生日聚會的語言知識,使學生能夠將所學語言運用到實際生活中去,復習日期和生日聚會的表達方式,提高交際能力。故事內容:micky 要過生日了,他想找一個跟它同一天生日的伙伴,最后找到了大象,他們高興地邀請小動物們一起搞了個生日聚會。
二、課前準備
1.準備本課的教學掛圖(裁成小圖)、幻燈片、錄音磁帶。
2.準備日歷和動物頭飾。
三、教學建議
1.教師依次展示教學掛圖,慢慢地把裁開的各幅小圖依次貼在黑板上。教師要一邊貼,一邊提問,注意問題說得要清楚,可以多重復幾遍。
展示第1個掛圖,提問:what is micky thinking about?
展示第2個掛圖,提問:micky is not happy.what are micky and mimi talking about?
展示第3個掛圖,提問:micky is sad.why?
展示第4個掛圖,提問:micky is happy.he is laughing.why?
展示第5個掛圖,提問:why does the elephant have flowers in his hands? what are they going to do?

2.學生短暫思考后,教師播放錄音:let's listen to the tape and find the answers.
3.讓學生自由回答上面的問題,根據學生回答問題的情況決定播放錄音的次數,必要的地方教師可以用漢語適當解釋。
4.學生理解故事內容后,再放一遍錄音讓他們跟讀。
5.把學生分為5人一組,分角色練習會話,然后學生帶上小動物的頭飾到前面表演。也可以播放幻燈片,進行配音比賽。師生共同評價,獎勵表演出色的小組。
四、課堂評價
1.本課的評價應該是對整個單元內容的學習總結,教師應該對整個單元學習過程中學生表現出的學習積極性、參與活動的互動性、學習方法的有效性、學習成果的達標情況等作一個綜合評價。給表現優秀的學生和學習小組頒發小獎章等獎品,也可以發一些小的學習用品作為鼓勵。教師要特別注意鼓勵那些學習有困難而有進步的學生。對表現欠佳的學生教師應該進一步了解情況,制定出下一步教學中的具體措施,幫助他們樹立信心,更快進步。
2.除了課本的內容,教師應該安排一些聽、說、讀、寫的測試內容。然后根據學生對本單元知識技能的掌握情況,有針對性地設計一些其他的游戲和比賽,以強化和補救某些需要進一步鞏固的知識點。
3.教師指導學生完成《活動手冊》中相關內容,然后進行評價。
(1)讓學生先觀察表格。表格的內容是生日的日期、所在星期、以及生日時想要的禮物。然后再讓學生使用示范語言調查班內的同學。最后再根據調查內容填寫表格。教師在這里應提醒學生,星期名稱可以縮寫。
(2)讓學生給自己的下一個生日設計一個晚會的內容,并寫一個相關小文段。學生可使用word bank中的語言。
五、復習課參考活動
1.教師總結本單元對學生完成課堂教學活動的評價記錄。如在答問、朗讀、游戲、比賽、會話表演等活動中獲得星星、小紅旗、小貼紙等的數量。這些可分單元粘貼在學生的學習檔案上。這樣,學生可以對自己每個單元與上一個單元的課堂表現進行對比,督促自己不斷進步。教師還要根據學習檔案上的獎勵數量,每單元評出一名“英語小博士”,評出結果后還要象征性地舉行“學位”授予儀式。
2.教師利用課前幾分鐘每次安排一組學生表演。學生可以圍繞學習的重點自定表演內容,如英語詩歌朗誦和短劇表演等活動。表演時間由學生自定,但要提前通知教師。教師對學生的表演進行評定,教師的評定不是以分數的形式,而是以開展英語“爭獎章”活動來進行的。根據學生實際情況設計多種獎章,如:口才獎章、默契獎章、創新獎章、好問獎章、小歌星獎章、勇敢獎章、表演獎章、好學獎章等,連獲五個獎章的學生將得到“爭獎章小標兵”的稱號。同時教師還為學生的活動留下錄音或照片,一并收入學習檔案之中。
3.通過創設過生日的情景,運用本單元所學語言知識,進行生日聚會活動。其中包括用英語寫邀請卡、邀請朋友、挑選生日蛋糕、制作聚會時戴的帽子、接待朋友、許愿、吹蠟燭和齊唱生日歌的交際過程,對所學語言進行拓展。教師先請兩名學生示范,然后學生分小組進行活動,分給每組食品(或圖片)若干份,最后請幾組學生進行匯報。
4.用本單元所學的句子結構和單詞編成chant,開展小組間chant卡拉ok比賽。
5.根據過生日的情景自編對話,進行對話表演比賽。
6.偵探
目的:培養學生的聽力與觀察能力;激發學生學習的積極性與主動性;復習本單元的動詞短語:light the candles, sing the birthday song, make a wish, blow out the candles, cut the cake
方法:教師請6個學生上前面來,其中5個人先從老師手中抽一張小卡片站在教室中間,音樂聲一響,5個人便各自按小卡上的內容做動作。另外一名學生當偵探,不作動作,只是觀察。當音樂聲停后,學生動作也停止。下面的同學說出其中的一個動作,如:cut the cake,小偵探必須在限定時間內找出剛才做這一動作的同學。然后由被找出的同學來繼續扮演小偵探。
