  Step 2. Presentation

  (1) Lead-in

  T: You know, I'm new here. I thought it would be hot in Zhuha.But today it is cold. I'm just in a blouse.

  Now I'm feeling a little cold. So I want to go shopping and buy some warm clothes. (Read the title "shiopping".)

  (2) Play a guessing game (課件:顯示屏上出現一些碎片,碎片慢慢擴大,變成一件毛衣)

  T: What am I going to buy? What do I want? Just guess and say: "YOu want ..."

  (3)(課件:教師走進一家服裝店,與售票員進行交談。)

  【學法旨要】

  1.學好本單元知識的關鍵是什么?

  認真復習以前學過的現在完成時,通過舊知識引出新知識,注意二者的聯系和區別:

  過去完成時的基本用法與現在完成時基本相似,所不同的是:現在完成時的動作在現在以前完成,過去完成時的動作在過去某一時間以前完成,那么,使用過去完成時就非先有這樣一個過去某一時間不可。例如:

  i had done my homework before lunch.. 我在午飯前把作業做完了。

  句中的lunch即是過去某一時間,而過去完成時had done這一動作就是在lunch之前完成的。如果只說i had done my homework. 聽者就會覺得難以理解。由此可見,過去完成時可以說是一個相對的時態,它不能離開過去時間而獨立存在。再如:

  by the end of that year wendy had collected more than a thousand foreign stamps.

  到那年年底,溫迪已收集了一千多張外國郵票。

  但過去某一時間也可以暗含在上下文中而不表示出來。例如:

  the roads were full of people. we hadn' t foreseen that.

  路上都是人,這是我們事先未料到的。

  2.學習本單元知識的目標是什么?

  (1)掌握過去完成時的用法。

  (2)懂得現代購物手段。

  (3)掌握目的狀語從句。

  【經點答疑】

  1.怎樣理解so...that和so that結構?

  (1)so...that結構中,that引導結果狀語從句。例如:

  she was so tired that she fell.她累得倒下了。(她是如此的疲勞以致于倒下了)

  (2)so that既可引導目的狀語從句,也可引導結果狀語從句。例如:

  i stopped so that you could catch up.我停下來以便你能趕上。(目的)

  nothing more was heard of him, so that people thought he was dead.

  未再聽到他的消息,因此人們以為他死了。(結果)

  2.“would you like me to look in the back?”一句中would是什么用法?

  是would like sb.to do結構,意為“想要某人做某事”。例如:

  i would like you to help me. 我想要你幫助我。

  另外,could和would都可用來表示非常禮貌的委婉的請求。例如:

  could you answer my question? 你能回答我的問題嗎?

  would you please do me a favor?請幫個忙,好嗎?

  注can和will也可用于上述句子,但語氣沒有could和would那么委婉,因此,疑問句中常用could代替can,would代替will,以表示禮貌的請求。

  3.在this camera seemed to offer the most at the best price. 句中,price的用法及其他常用短語是什么?

  (1)n.價格,代價,價值。例如:

  what is the price of this diamond ring?  這只鉆戒的價格是多少?

  a life of toil is generally the price of fame and success.

  勞苦的一生通常是聲望和成功的代價。

  a price on one's head  懸賞緝拿某人

  have one's price  向人開價做壞事(價錢合適便做)

  (2)vt.  定價,標價。例如:

  the beauty parlour priced itself out of the market by charging so much.

  那美容院自己定價過高,以致無人問津。

  in any shop all goods should be clearly priced. 任何一家商店所有的貨物都應該標明價目。

  (3)關于price的常用短語:

  be worth the price  是值這個價錢的          agree upon a price  議定價格

  reduce(raise)a price  降(提)價          price current  時價表

  price cutting  大減價                      price line  價格相同的一批貨物

  beyond price  寶貴的,無價的              without price  寶貴的,無價的

  at a price   付出很大代價,昂貴            at any price  無論花多大代價;無論如何

  at the price of    以……的代價;以高于正常的價格,以高于市場的價格

  4.when do you want to go shopping?類似go shopping的短語還有哪些?

  go+現在分詞表示去進行某項活動。例如:

  go swimming   去游泳     go skating       去滑冰    go boating   去劃船

  go climbing     去登山     go sightseeing   去觀光    go fishing    去釣魚

  5.order 作動詞時的用法是什么?

  (1)命令;指揮。例如:

  they ordered him to stop. 他們命令他停下。

  (2)下令。例如:

  to order an attack  下令進攻

  if you make any more noise, i shall order you out of the hall!

  如果你再吵,我就叫你離開禮堂!

  (3)吩咐,囑咐。例如:

  the doctor ordered me to rest for a week or two. 醫生囑咐我休息一兩個星期。

  (4)要求;定購,預定。例如:

  would you like to order some more food?  你要不要再來點菜?

  you'd better order a taxi.你最好還是去預定一輛出租汽車。

  (5)安排;處理。例如:

  we must order our affairs better before we leave for rome.

  我們去羅馬前必須把事情安排妥當。

  6.go over 的用法是什么?

  (1)視察;查看。例如:

  we went over the building.我們查看了這座大樓。

  (2)查閱。例如:

  we must go over the accounts carefully before we settle them.

  在結賬之前,我們必須仔細查閱賬目。

  you must go over the instructions of how it works before you use the micro-wave oven.

  在使用微波爐前要先看看它的使用說明。

  (3)復習。例如:

  go over the lesson again.把功課再復習一遍。

  (4)(表演)很受歡迎。例如:

  7.fill in 的用法是什么?用fill組成的其他短語有那些?

  (1)填充,填補。例如:

  we'll have to find someone to fill in for francis tonight as he's ill.

  to fill in one's income tax form  填寫所得稅申報表

  please fill in/out/up this form, giving your name, age, and address.
