Step 1 : Class opening and Review
1、Review clothes the students have mastered and other vocabulary with “ Dress up ”
(jeans , skirt , hat , blouse , pants , sweater , shoes , socks , jacket and glasses .)
Step 2 Presentation and practice
1、Teaching “ boots and umbrella ”
1)Ask the Ss what do you like to have on the rainy day ?Demonstrate “ boots ” and “ umbrella ” with real objects .
2)Practice a : Read after me

d : Make some sentences with the words .
2、Teaching “ wet and dry ”
1)Demonstrate “ wet ” and “ dry ” with some water and some paper . Get a piece of paper wet and compare it to a dry piece of paper .

1)Using pictures to demonstrate the new words :

（5）組織學(xué)生模仿上列句型進(jìn)行對話。
（6）學(xué)生二人一組根據(jù)錄音機(jī)的對話和上述重點(diǎn)句型和書中的圖片進(jìn)行練習(xí)，逐步熟悉對話內(nèi)容，重點(diǎn)掌握What’s that in English then?句型和理解領(lǐng)會Is that a sheep over there?的含義。

學(xué)情分析
1 本節(jié)課是新年過后6冊第一課，學(xué)生有可能思想不集中，加之單詞數(shù)量多 效果可能不夠佳，因此要多加引導(dǎo)。
2學(xué)生經(jīng)過半年的英語學(xué)習(xí)，已有較好的基礎(chǔ)，教師只要認(rèn)真組織，合理創(chuàng)設(shè)場景、適時激發(fā)興趣，學(xué)生會很快進(jìn)入角色。
