structure 賓語補(bǔ)足語
某些及物動(dòng)詞的賓語后面還需要有一個(gè)補(bǔ)足語，意思才完整，賓語和它的補(bǔ)足語構(gòu)成復(fù)合賓語。而復(fù)合賓語的第一部分通常由名詞或代詞充當(dāng)，第二部分表示第一部分的名詞或代詞發(fā)出的動(dòng)作或身份、特征等，稱為賓語補(bǔ)足語。
賓語補(bǔ)足語有以下幾類。
1. 由動(dòng)詞不定式充當(dāng)。多數(shù)是帶to的不定式，也有不帶to的不定式。
1).要求帶to的不定式做賓語補(bǔ)足語的動(dòng)詞有tell，ask，invite，force，get，beg，allow，wish，want，like，would like, teach, prefer，intend，expect，encourage，permit，order，warn等。
2).某些動(dòng)詞如make，have，let，see，look at, watch，notice，,hear，listen to, feel等要求省to的不定式做賓語補(bǔ)足語。
3).某些動(dòng)詞如think，consider，believe，know，find等后面做賓語補(bǔ)足語的不定式常用to be + adj.的結(jié)構(gòu)。
eg. we believed him to be stupid.
he didn’t consider himself (to be) important.
2. 由動(dòng)詞-ing形式或過去分詞充當(dāng)。
1).當(dāng)賓語補(bǔ)足語的動(dòng)作由作賓語的名詞或代詞發(fā)出時(shí)，賓語補(bǔ)足語用-ing形式。
eg. he could hear his heart beating fast.
