  (一)語法指南:

  英語語句基本句型

  語言是千變萬化的,要掌握語言,必須掌握語言的核心。動詞句型可說是語言的核心,是骨干。因此要對英語有比較全面的了解,應當抓住英語動詞句型(english verb patterns)。掌握好這些基本句型,就可為靈活運用語言打下基礎。

  英語語句共有以下幾種基本句型:

  (1)主語+系動詞+表語(+狀語)

  the weather is getting quite warm. 

  天氣變得相當暖和。

  i feel down today.

  我今天心情不佳。

  it sounds a good idea.

  這聽起來是個好主意。

  (2)主語+謂語(不及物動詞)(+狀語)

  they sat together very quietly.

  他們靜靜地坐在一起。

  she swims like a fish.

  她游起泳來像條魚。

  (3)主語+謂語(及物動詞)+賓語(+狀語)

  shall i call a taxi?

  我要不要叫一輛出租車?

  注:從以上例子可以看出,英語的句子以謂語為中心,前面是行為的執行者(被動語態例外),后面接動作的承受者。狀語可以置于句首,也可以置于謂語部分(謂語+賓語+賓語補足語)之后。一般說來,置于句首的多是時間、條件和原因,至于謂語部分之后的是地點、方式、原因、目的、時間和伴隨成分。

  1. what sort of car?

  * sort 作名詞時,意為“種類”“類型”,常與of連用。

  如:

  he had some sort of an english accent.

  他有某種英國口音。

  pop music is the sort she likes most.

  流行音樂是她最喜歡的一種音樂。

  * sort 作名詞時,意思與“kind”比較接近。kind 指確實具有共同性質或特征的人或事物所形成的“種類”;而sort指大體相似的人或事物所構成的“種類”。前者比后者正式;后者多用于口語或商業用語中,有時還帶有輕蔑的意味。二者有時可互換使用。

  如:

  she is kind of woman who likes to help other people.

  她是那種樂于助人的女人。

  that’s just the sort of thing i want.

  那正是我想要的那種東西。

  * sort 還可以用在of…sort 短語中,kind也有這種用法,即of…kind。

  如:

  helen would never permit anything of the sort.

  i said nothing of the kind to ruth.

  * sort of 和 kind of 都可以用作狀語,表示“有……”、“有幾分……”

  如:

  the movie was sort of disappointing.

  2. many students have hobbies, such as reading, painting, growing vegetables in their gradens, or looking after animals.

  * such as 意為“例如”“像”,用來列舉事物,通常是以整體之中的部分同類人或事物作例。 such as 之間可以用逗號和句子隔開,之后不用逗號,直接跟名詞或代詞。

  如:

  a man such as liu xiang will surely succeed.

  we’ve planted lots of different flowers, such as roses, carnations, and chrysanthemums.

  * 表示列舉時,such as 和like 后只能接整體之中的部分人或物,不能將全體成員或所有內容一一列舉。如我們不能說:

  here we study three subjects, that is, chinese, math, and physics.

  * for example意為“舉例”“例如”,是以整體之中的一個為例來舉例說明,用以說明某一方面的情況或佐證某一論點,在句子中多用作插入語,為之可以在句首、句末或句中,且前后常用逗號與句子隔開。

  如:

  for example, air is invisible and of no smell.

  例如:空氣是無色無味的。

  noise, for example, is a kind of pollution as well.

  4   造句比賽: 討論各自喜歡收集的東西i like collecting stamps\dolls\books\shoes...

  5   教師做游泳動作并說:i like swimming.再問: do you like swimming?引導學生用yes,i do.或 no,i don't.來回答。

  6   請學生用i like...句型說出自己喜歡做的運動,教師逐一向全班報告:he/she likes...領說句型, 學生跟讀。

  這個過程逐步過渡到一個學生說i like...另一個學生轉述he/she likes...在操練過程中老師要特意幫助學生在第三人稱后的動詞末尾加s,在操練過后,要學生根據板書總結什么樣的人稱后動詞末尾加s。

  拿出動物郵票:there’s a lion on this stamp. the lion is an animal. this is an animal stamp.讓學生理解animal的意思

  出示一張船圖案的郵票:there’s a ship on the stamp. it’s very nice. it’s beautiful.

  學習a ship 一詞。  領讀單詞a stamp, many, a ship, 生跟讀。

  b. 師繼續出示郵冊,一邊給學生看里面的郵票一邊介紹說 i like collecting stamps. look at my stamps. they are beautiful. 出示課前準備的布偶說i like collecting dolls ,too         學習單詞collect。

  c. 師把布偶放在桌子上,一邊拍照一邊說i like collecting dolls. i like taking photos. 讓學生領會a photo和take a photo的意思,再讓學生邊說邊做take a photo.

  出示read and say部分的掛圖并進行句型介紹this is yang ling. she likes making clothes. helen likes cooking and growing flowers.學生理解圖片意思后模仿學說this is yang ling. she likes making clothes. helen likes cooking and growing flowers.

  師生利用掛圖進行問答練習:does yang ling like making clothes? yes, she does. does helen like taking photos? no, she doesn’t.領說句型。
