一、 單元分析(unit analysis)
(一)單元地位(unit position)
1.本課在對各國各類食品描述時(shí),教師可圍繞“世界食品”這一主題,設(shè)計(jì)活動(dòng)讓學(xué)生參與口語討論,了解他們的日常詞匯的掌握程度,同時(shí)也考察他們對各國飲食文化的理解。
2.圍繞本課主題“食品”,要求學(xué)生分組合作,調(diào)查研究中國人的飲食習(xí)慣,綜合“喜愛的何種食品,外出就餐的頻率,吃快餐的頻率,對健康食品的定義”等各種因素,最后做一份調(diào)查報(bào)告。
3.本課中出現(xiàn)的語法現(xiàn)象——現(xiàn)在分詞做狀語。教師可通過分詞做狀語和狀語從句的轉(zhuǎn)換讓學(xué)生了解分詞的用法,然后再通過翻譯進(jìn)一步深化鞏固這一語法點(diǎn)。
(二)單元目標(biāo)(unit target)
1 了解東西方的飲食風(fēng)格并能簡單的描述不同的食物或烹飪過程。
2 能理解分詞做狀語的結(jié)構(gòu),并能使用此結(jié)構(gòu)翻譯造句。
3 能用英語恰當(dāng)?shù)乇磉_(dá)邀請對方品嘗食物并能作出相應(yīng)的回復(fù)。
4 能按時(shí)間順序組織段落或文章。

2) describing some typical chinese dishes
1. wash and peel the fruit.
2. chop the fruit.
3. mix together the pieces of fruit and add water.
4. cook on high for 4 minutes until the water just begins to boil.
5. stir in a cornstarch mixture.
6. add sugar.
7. cook on high for another minute and stir.
8. serve warm.
