18. put forward 提出（建議、意見）；推薦，提名
e. g. he put forward several interesting plans. 他提出了幾項(xiàng)令人感興趣的計(jì)劃。
19. aim (sth) at sth/doing sth (把……)瞄準(zhǔn)；目的在于；企圖
he aimed his gun at the target.
those girls worked out every morning, aiming at losing weight.
20. announce vt. 宣布， 宣告
1）announce sth./sb.
the government announced its new economic policies. 政府宣布了新的經(jīng)濟(jì)政策。
2) announce (to sb.) that/ when…
please announce to your class that there will be no school tomorrow.
請(qǐng)對(duì)你們班上的學(xué)生宣布明天沒有課。

i think some other ones like genetic engineering and cloning are also changing the world.

(answer: i think solar energy is the most important, because it helps us save lots of natural sources of energy like coals, natural gas and soil etc.)

(answer: they are all important and useful for the development of mankind and society.)
