詞匯辨析

e.g. please add some water into the glass.
add up.. 合計 they add up all the figures.
add up to 總共是，總計為 the figures add up to 450.
語法
原因狀語從句（參考同步導學方案p93）
時間狀語從句
as 表示 “當……的時候”著重強調主句和從句的動作同時或者幾乎同時發生。
e.g. she came upstairs as i was cooking.
when 既可予以表示時間點，也可以表示時間段，主句與從句的動作可以同時發生也可以先后發生。
e.g. it was raining when we arrived.
when(after) he came back,his father gave him a letter.
he had learnt more than 200 words when(before) he went to school.
while 引導的從句必須是延續性動詞。
e.g. please don't talk so loud while others are working.
其他的引導時間狀語從句的連接詞：
directly / immediately / the moment + 句子 “一……就……”
hardly / scarcely ... when... "一……就……"
no sooner ... than... "一……就……'
