other than = except for除了……； 而非

解：other than意思是：不同于，除……之外；rather than意思是：而不是。根據句意：除了這塊專門為它培育的土壤，這種作物在其它土壤上都生長不好 應選擇d。
三. 重點句型

這是一個主從復合句，in which引導定語從句，修飾先行詞position。
