向?qū)W生展示一些杰出科學(xué)的圖片比如居里夫人等等來引出話題: “great scientists”
let students guess who they are. and then ask students to tell something about them.
第二步 小組活動(dòng)(四人一組)
1. ask students to discuss the questions in warming up.
2. ask students to compare their answers.
3. ask students to discuss the two questions in pre–reading.
4. check the answers.
第三步 聽力訓(xùn)練
利用 workbook 的 listening (p41) 進(jìn)行聽力訓(xùn)練。訓(xùn)練之前,簡介有關(guān) carl linnaeus 的情況。
carl linnaeus (1707–1778) lived and worked in sweden. he succeeded in classifying kinds of plants and animals. his classification has proved very successful and is still used today.
第四步 口語訓(xùn)練
利用 talking (p41) 進(jìn)行口語訓(xùn)練。
第五步 作業(yè)布置
1. 預(yù)習(xí)本單元的單詞和詞組。
2. finish project. ( 四人一組,每個(gè)小組選定一名最喜愛的科學(xué)家,作一個(gè)相關(guān)匯報(bào),主要項(xiàng)目是科學(xué)家的生平簡介,對科學(xué)的貢獻(xiàn)及成功之道等等。)
