he took strong action.他采取了強硬措施。
he was sorry for his actions.他為自己的行為感到懊悔。
(take action采取行動，中間不加冠詞)
16. active (a.)積極的，主動的
she is an active supporter of women’s rights.
她是爭取婦女權利的積極支持者。
the sentence is in the active voice.本句子用的是主動語態。
mrs. brown is over 80 and not very active now.
布朗太太已八十多歲,現在不大活動了。
17. activity (n)
活動(outdoor activities戶外活動/ classrom activities課堂活動)
i take an active part in all kinds of activities including tennis, swimming and running.
