句式精講
1. …belong to…
1）belong to意為“屬于”，它的后面用名詞或者代詞作賓語(yǔ)，belong to沒(méi)有被動(dòng)語(yǔ)態(tài)。經(jīng)常用在句型something belongs to somebody，表示“某物屬于某人”，它相當(dāng)于something be somebody’s。
the book belongs to your father.＝the book is your father’s. 那本書是你爸爸的。
2）must belong to的后面直接用名詞或者代詞，而must be的后面用名詞所有格或者物主代詞，都表示“某物一定是某人的”。
the big bike must belong to your uncle.＝the big bike must be your uncle’s.
那輛大的自行車一定是你叔叔的。
2. if you have any idea…
if you have any idea... = if you know... 意為“如果你知道……”。
have any idea 是動(dòng)詞短語(yǔ)，意為“知道”，常用于否定句，疑問(wèn)句或條件句，在陳述句中用have an idea，在否定句中可用have no idea。
do you have any idea how long it will take?
你知道要花費(fèi)多長(zhǎng)時(shí)間嗎？
i have an idea of how to get a free download of songs.
我知道怎么弄到免費(fèi)下載的歌曲。
i have no idea what to do. 我不知道該怎么辦。
3. it must be...
1）must be是情態(tài)動(dòng)詞和be的連用，在本句子中表示猜測(cè)的意思，對(duì)某事物有較大的把握。
your father must be at home. 你的爸爸一定在家。
如果是對(duì)事物把握性不是很大的情況下用can be或may be表示“可能是、也許是”。
your bike can be under the tree. 你的自行車可能在樹(shù)下。
2）如果對(duì)某事物否定猜測(cè)的把握性比較大的情況下用can’t be表示“不可能是”，語(yǔ)氣比較強(qiáng)。
the red bike can’t be your mother’s.
那一輛紅色的自行車不可能是你媽媽的。
4. i hope that…
1）從說(shuō)話語(yǔ)氣上講，hope 用于表示可能實(shí)現(xiàn)的事情，后接從句時(shí)，用陳述語(yǔ)氣。
i hope i shall see him again. 我希望再見(jiàn)他一次。
i hope you haven't hurt yourself. 但愿你沒(méi)有受傷。
2）從含義上講，hope 多用于指對(duì)好事的盼望、預(yù)想;對(duì)壞事的預(yù)想則多用“i'm afraid...”。
i hope it will be fine tomorrow. 我希望明天天氣好。
i'm afraid it will rain again. 恐怕還要下雨。
3）從時(shí)間上看，hope 所希望的一般指將來(lái)或現(xiàn)在的事情，不用于指過(guò)去的事情。
i hope he will come. 我希望他會(huì)來(lái)。
4）從句型上看，hope 可用hope to do sth句型，而不能用hope sb to do sth句型。
i hope to watch the football match again.
我希望再看一次那場(chǎng)足球賽。
要表示“希望如此”時(shí)，常用“i hope so.”其否定形式用“i hope not.”。hope后面還可以接that 從句， 意為“希望……”。
she hopes that i will pass the exam. 她希望我能通過(guò)考試。
5. there must be….
1）there be和情態(tài)動(dòng)詞連用表示“對(duì)某地有某物的推測(cè)”，there may/can be的意思是“可能有”；
there must be的意思是“一定有”；there can’t be的意思是“不可能有”；there will be是“將要有”。
