    though  conj. 雖然，盡管
    thought it was late, mr. green went on working.
    雖然很晚了，但格林先生還在工作。
    連接：可用作副詞，表示“然而”，放在句末或其他位置
    辨析：though與 although 
    兩者都有“雖然”之意。although引導的狀語從句多位于主語之前;
    though引導的狀語從句可位于主句之前，也可位于主句之后；
    although較為正式，而though多用于非正式文體中
    although it has passed, i will never forget it.

    turn off 關上turn up調大 turn down調小
    ②turn off the light before you leave.
    你離開之前把燈關上。
    ③turn the gas down. 把煤氣關小。
    ④i can’t hear clearly, turn the radio up please.
    我聽不清楚，請收音機把聲音調大點。
 
  8. hand in 交上
    ①hand in your homework this afternoon.
    今天下午交作業。
    hand back  退還hand down 傳下來；宣布
    hand on 傳遞下去hand out分發；施舍
    ②don’t forget to hand back your book before you leave the reading room.
    離開閱覽室之前別忘了把書還回去。
