第三課時
一、分析（analysis）
（一）地位（position）
1 在前面已經介紹了連詞when 的用法，這一單元繼續鞏固。
2 本單元時態重點為現在進行時態，這個時態在7a中已經有鋪墊，在這一課時教師有必要再進行一些訓練。
（二）目標（target）
1 when引導句子表示時間。
2 運用現在進行時態表示現在正在進行的動作。如：i’m living in the countryside.
（三）重點（points）
1 關鍵詞：
countryside, noise, lots of
2 功能：
indicating the time (說明動作發生的時間)
when we lived in the city, we went out at night.
indicating present action
i’m living in the countryside.
二、 教學設計（teaching designs）
教學內容：課本40頁
教學實施建議：
這一頁通過比較城市與鄉村生活的區別，操練when引導的時間狀語從句。時態上體現兩個時態：一般過去時態和現在進行時態。這一部分的具體操作內容及建議如下：
1） 這一部分主要通過比較城市生活和鄉村生活的差別來操練when從句。為避免過于直接地開門見山，教師應當做一些鋪墊。若教室內配有電腦，推薦一個網絡上可以下載到的flash《城里老鼠和鄉下老鼠》，作為鋪墊，然后讓學生討論城里生活和鄉下生活的利與弊，并提問學生：which do you prefer？若教室內無電腦配置，則可以自行組織學生討論：the difference between city life and country life。
2） 播放錄音引入詩歌，首先由學生齊聲朗讀，然后要學生根據詩歌內容總結出城鄉生活的區別，如：
in the city, there are lots of lights, noise, girls, boys …，
in the countryside, there aren’t many light, noise…, there is much fresh air, many animals…
3) 進一步引導學生思考，when you lived in the countryside/ , what did you do?
when you are in the city, what are you doing?
4) 接下來利用課本提供的素材，操練when從句。
如：when we lived in the countryside, we walked to school. now we are living in the city, we don’t …
5）再次播放錄音，學生聽并重復。然后請四位學生在課堂上表演這首詩。
