unit 2 ben’s birthday 1. ben and jim often go home together after school.本和杰姆在放學(xué)后常常一起回家。我們常用together 來表示“一同”做某事。如：sing together 一起唱，read together 一起讀，play football together 一起踢足球。我們還可以同together with 表示“與某人一同”做某事。如： ben often goes home together with jim after school. 本和杰姆在放學(xué)后常常一起回家。 1. what date is it today? 今天是幾月幾號？ 1）.這句話還可以問：what’s the date today? 它的回答可以是：it’s the sixth of october. 也可以是：it’s october the sixth. 2). 在英語中表達(dá)“第幾”的時(shí)候，我們用序數(shù)詞。使用序數(shù)詞時(shí)，我們通常在它面前加上the. 如：the first, the second 。 序數(shù)詞有三種構(gòu)成形式： ① 直接在基數(shù)詞詞尾加上th。如：seventh第七，tenth 第十，thirteenth 第十三，one hundredth 第一百。 ②以y結(jié)尾的基數(shù)詞，變y為i，再加上eth。如：twentieth 第二十，fortieth 第四十。 ③還有些序數(shù)詞是不規(guī)則變化的。如：first 第一, second 第二， third 第三，fifth 第五， eighth 第八，ninth 第九，twelfth 第十二，twenty-first 第二十一。 3.it’s on the 18th of october. 在10月18日。 在表示具體某一天時(shí)，我們常用介詞on 。如：on sunday(s) 在周日，on friday morning/afternoon/evening 在周五的上午/下午/晚上，on holidays 在假日中。但我們用at the weekends 來表示“在周末”。 4.would you like to come to my birthday party? 你愿意來我的生日聚會嗎？ would you like…? 是一種比較有禮貌的詢問。它的后面可以直接跟名詞，也可以跟to加上動(dòng)詞。如： would you like a cup of coffee or tea? 你想要喝咖啡還是茶？在回答這個(gè)問題的時(shí)候我們可以說：i’d like a cup of tea. 我想喝點(diǎn)茶。no, thanks. 謝謝，不需要了。 would you like to go there with us? 你愿意和我們一起去那兒嗎？ yes , i’d like to. 是的，我想去。sorry, i’d like to, but i’ve got much work to do. 對不起，我很想去，但是我有很多工作要做。 what would you like …? （你想要做什么？）這句話可以用來詢問對方的意見。回答同樣用i’d like (to) … 來表示。 5.what would you like as a birthday present? 你想要什么作為生日禮物？ as 意為“當(dāng)作，作為”。如： they all look miss li as their mother. 他們把李老師當(dāng)作他們的媽媽。 6.take a piece of paper. 拿出一張紙。 paper 意為“紙”時(shí)是不可數(shù)名詞。在表示不可數(shù)名詞的數(shù)量時(shí)，我們通常用表示數(shù)量的of 詞組來表達(dá)。如：a bowl of rice 一碗米飯，two bowls of soup 兩碗湯，three cups of tea 三杯茶，four pieces of bread 四片面包，five pairs of trousers 五條長褲，six glasses of water六杯水，seven pieces of paper 七頁紙。
