教學目標：

知識目標：

1) 四會掌握單詞christmas, had, went。

2) 三會掌握單詞relative, favourite和三會句型what’s your favourite   holiday? my favourite holiday is …。

技能目標：

  理解掌握part a對話內容，并能按要求完成相關練習。

能力目標：

  能掌握一些中外節日的知識。

情意目標：

  能用英語流利地詢問他人對于節日的愛好，并能說出自己的喜好，能向他人介紹一些中外節日的相關知識。

step 1 warm up :

1.greetings:

2.free talk:

1)復習上節課所學的節日名稱

3) 通過詢問what’s your favourite holiday?

my favourite holiday is ...

            when’s …?     it’s in / on … 復習所學句型

3、a guessing game: 英文逐句出示相關節日的描述，讓學生在出示的過程中猜出節日，并上臺在電腦上輸入節日名稱（多媒體出示）

4、復習c部分重點句型

a: when’s … ?b: it’s in …

a: what do people usually do at /on …?

b: they … .

a: did you … last …?

b: yes, i did./ no, i didn’t.

step 2. class procedure:

一.part a 引言部分

1) 播放video

2) 聽文章序言部分，設計幾個以"wh"的簡單的問題。

what date is it?

what festival is coming?

how are the teachers and the students?

what is mr green doing?

3) check the answers and read the answers together.（答案就是引言部分）

二.課文：

把課文分成兩部分，前半段設計了不定項選擇題，后半段設計為填表格，以看動畫，聽錄音，做練習的方法進行，因為難度較大，所以聽的遍數可適當多點，接下來是校對學生的答案，然后以多種方式進行朗讀練習，完成書上的小練習。
